ICMR Recruitment 2024 is announced. The Indian Council of Medical and Research has opened 2 vacancies under Non-Medical Positions namely Scientist C and Scientist D. The notification has informed all the students to cleanly read the eligibility criteria provided for these positions and complete the application form through online mode before 16 September 2024, if the match all the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria consider primarily 2 parameters, the first one is the age limit where the Scientist C positions require candidates to be aged below 40 years, while for the Scientist D position candidates must be aged below 45 years. While completing the application form it is also necessary that you need to pay an application fee of Rs 1500, if you belong to the General or OBC category, for SC/ST/EWS/PwBD and female candidates it’s Nil.
The Selected candidate under the Scientist C position can earn a monthly salary from Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700. For the post of Scientist D, it’s Rs 78,800 to Rs 2,09,200. The salary will be allotted based on the qualifications and experience that the candidate has in his field. Applicants are also instructed to carefully read the instructions and guidelines provided while completing the application form to avoid any errors. Candidates will be shortlisted after the application’s final date is over. Candidates will be notified through the contact details they enter. Shortlisted candidates have to attend the written exam, which will be Computer Based. After the written exams, selected candidates have to attend the interview. During the interview, candidates have to provide the required documents for document verification.
Candidates applying for the Scientist C position must have a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry/Pharmacy/Pharmacology/Immunology/Microbiology/Genetics/Medical/Genetics and candidates must have an experience of 4 years in the same field
Candidates applying for the Scientist D position must have a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry/Pharmacy/Pharmacology/Immunology/Microbiology/Genetics/Medical/Genetics and have an experience of 8 years in the same field
Candidates must have completed their Master’s Degree from a recognized institution in India
