Discount scheme of e challan works a lot for the government and till date they have collected 113 crores from this challan discount.

Police official press release today says that the last date of e-challan has been extended till 31st January, earlier Telangana police department announced the last date as 10-01-2024 but now they have extended the date.

In a press release today, the police department has benefited the public by extending the last date of public rush towards one-time discount of TS Challan.

According to the official report of the Telangana Police Department, so far the public has cleared 1.29 crore e-challans across the state and the department has collected a fine of Rs 113 crore.

The people of Hyderabad who availed concessions in these e-challans paid a fine of only 28.7 crores to the police department.

The waiver of discount on e-challans will remain unchanged for this period as well.

  • Two and Three-Wheeler Vehicles:
    • Owners need to pay only 20% of the total challan amount.
  • Light-Motor Vehicles (Including Cars and Four-Wheelers):
    • A 60% discount is applicable.
    • The remaining amount to be paid is 40% of the total challan amount.
  • Heavy-Motor Vehicles (Including Trucks):
    • A 60% discount is applicable.
    • The remaining amount to be paid is 40% of the total challan amount.
  • Push Carts and TSRTC Buses:
    • These vehicles are eligible for the maximum discount of 90%.
    • The remaining amount to be paid is 10% of the total challan amount.

Individuals should be aware of these discount percentages and pay their challan amount based on the type of vehicle they own.
